Our Emma

Last summer, we were approached by an Exeter University student by the name of Emma Gerrard, who asked if we could offer her a work placement for the summer break, working with Less CO2 Limited and learning what we do and how we do it. We agreed and the rest is history, but we enjoyed having her with us and (we think) she enjoyed it too :)

So this year we approached Emma to ask if she would like to come back and spend the summer with us again and luckily for us, she said yes!!!

For the past 8 weeks or so, Emma has been an amazing addition to our team in house and also on installations. She has been our on-site photographer (see some of her pictures on this site and below) and note-taker, helping us to keep up to date with what is going on when we install our Wind Turbines, but also she has acted as our assistant “team leader” in the office, making sure our meetings ran to time, our open days are well catered for by creating literature, postcards and stickers to take with us, and made sure our blog posts and website were scheduled and up to date.

Emma, we at Less CO2 Limited, both in-office and on-site team members, would all like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU!!! and farewell as you head off back to your final year at Exeter University.

BUT!! ...

It doesn’t just end there we are happy to say. Emma will be working with us “virtually” from October, on a project which will be beneficial for both Emma and ourselves, so I am sure we will hear more from our favourite student over the coming months.

Good luck Renewable Emma G ;o)
